Philip is a widely published journalist, specialising in the security and intelligence arenas, with years of experience in all aspects of intelligence and security as well as strategic planning. He maintains a close interest in global events.  He is recognised as a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons expert. Philip now runs his own media company, Grey Hare Media. Between the Army and this, he was a sales and marketing director for a large cast steel manufacturer with over £100m of business, and then managing director and editor in chief of a B2B Security focused print and online publication. He speaks across the globe on terrorism, cyber security, information and disinformation, leadership and mental health, as well as on global security issues.

Martin Richards - Kidnap and Extortion Response Consultant

Martin is a crisis management professional. He works with public sector and business clients on crisis preparation, training, exercises, crisis plan preparation and assisting clients manage live crisis situations, including kidnap. Martin spent 30 years in the UK Metropolitan Police, reaching the rank of Chief Superintendent.  He had command responsibility over a series of high-profile major incidents.  He was head of the leadership academy, and worked on secondment to the Home Office, National Police Powers and Policy Unit and concluded his service as UK Director of strategic police command firearms training.

Miriam Sultana - Director of Advisory at PKF Malta

Miriam is an economist specialised in Environmental Economics with over 13 years’ of experience in business consultancy. At PKF Malta, she is heavily involved in the provision of specialist business and economic advice to various clients operating in various industries. She has been involved in cost benefit analyses in support of EU funding applications and also various economic impact assessments for public and private clients. More recently, Miriam acted as a main advisor on a number of valuations for a number of private clients, as part of their respective strategies to re-structure their groups. She is also involved in the provision of internal audit services to public and regulated entities in Malta.
