Dr Natasha Attard - Behaviour Analyst

Natasha is an internationally trained Behaviour Analyst with extensive experience supporting children, families, and schools through evidence-based, ethical practice. She trained for four years in the UK, working alongside highly experienced professionals and developing strong expertise in Positive Behaviour Support, inclusive education, and systems-level intervention. Her clinical work focuses on autism, developmental and behavioural difficulties, and complex support needs, with a particular emphasis on communication, social, adaptive, and emotional regulation skills. Alongside her professional practice, she is deeply committed to prevention and culture change around childhood wellbeing. Through UnplugPlayGrow, she advocates for collective action to protect childhood and raise awareness of the developmental, cognitive, and social repercussions of early smartphone ownership. At the heart of everything is a belief that childhood should be protected, development should be respected, and change is possible when we act together.

Zach is the Founder & CEO of locally based start up FreeHour, which started out in 2017 as the go-to student app in Malta, catered to solving daily problems for University & 6th forms students by providing them with an innovative timetable system & other benefits such as Job opportunities, Offers & much more. Zach now runs a team of 17+ people whom operate the startup, app and the wide array of content FreeHour produces for its community of over 85,000 youths & students on its app & Instagram channels in Malta. Through this community, FreeHour has become the largest student & youth platform in Malta, working with over 200 brands to highlight their services to the upcoming generation.

Kerry Hermitage - Family Services Senior Manager at Fondazzjoni Sebħ and CEO at the Lisa Marie Foundation

Kerry is a warranted social worker with vast experience in working with various client groups including those who have experienced homelessness, domestic violence, childhood abuse, substance abuse, migration amongst others. The majority of her experience is in social work management where she was responsible for a number of residential settings within the social field. Kerry is very dedicated to social justice and echoing the voice of those service users that she has had the privilege to work with. “When someone is willing to share a part of their journey with you and very often the darkest moments of their life, this is a privilege. As professionals we have a larger obligation to echo the barriers that exist in the system and those barriers which are causing many of the vulnerabilities we encounter, in order to minimise harm as much as possible.”

Bernie Mizzi - Director at Chiswick House School and St Martin's College

For over 40 years Bernie bas been director and co-owner at Chiswick House School and St. Martin’s College, an all-through Independent School in Malta offering educational programmes (formal and informal) to children aged 2 to 18. She is also Co-founder of EC English, an international language school, and more recently Founder Trustee and Administrator of The Storm Petrel Foundation – A non-profit voluntary organisation promoting art, literature and popular culture. She assisted in establishing the Independent Schools Association and served as its first President for 4 years. She worked as a member of the University Council for 7 years and served as Pro-Chancellor between 2010-2013. She serves on numerous educational boards and regularly participates in international conferences and webinars. She is interested in all aspects of the educational field and has focused on using film as a teaching and learning strategy for over 20 years and has lately focused on mentoring educational leaders within the organisation. She is currently working with educational leaders reviewing curricula and co-constructing educational offerings that are valid for the context.

Trudy Kerr - Founder, Host and Producer of The SHE Word Ultra Runner, Traveler and Author

Trudy has extensive experience in communications, media, strategy and marketing, having worked in a number of leadership roles within these areas. She is well versed in all things iGaming, while her previous role saw her occupying the same post, Head of Strategy and Marketing, at iGEN- the iGaming European Network. She also hosts a popular podcast called The Interviewer, where she invites a diverse range of guests who are leaders in their respective fields.

Martin is a crisis management professional. He works with public sector and business clients on crisis preparation, training, exercises, crisis plan preparation and assisting clients manage live crisis situations, including kidnap. Martin spent 30 years in the UK Metropolitan Police, reaching the rank of Chief Superintendent. He had command responsibility over a series of high-profile major incidents. He was head of the leadership academy, and worked on secondment to the Home Office, National Police Powers and Policy Unit and concluded his service as UK Director of strategic police command firearms training.
